Genie Academy Student Accepted in School's Gifted and Talented Program

Angelina got into the Gifted and Talented program in her school in 3rd grade. She is one of the few students who were selected. She started attending Genie Academy when she was 5 years old. Her mom, Tu Nguyen, notes that she is very fast with math. Since Mrs. Nguyen doesn't have time to help her with homework, Angelina is pretty independent.

Mental Math has also helped her with having really good judgment and decision-making skills. Mrs. Nguyen notes that whenever she has to make a decision, she thinks through her options and the decision she makes is usually the right one. This is very rare in kids her age.

She has also picked up piano recently. Her piano teacher was surprised since Angelina had never taken piano classes before. She remarked that she picked up piano pretty quickly.

Mrs. Nguyen notes that coming to Genie Academy has also helped her become a quick learner of languages. She is able to speak and write her native Vietnamese pretty fluently. When they go to church, she can read the Prayer book in Vietnamese fluently.
