Student Selected in National Contest from Young Writers' Writing Contest

Genie Academy student succeeds with creative writing and will be featured in a renowned publication.

Genie Academy student Jaynaly is always raising the bar for the next big thing she is going to accomplish. During her time at Genie Academy, this is already her second success story. This time, Jaynaly's written work was selected to be featured in a publication called A Wander in The Woods- US Authors. She also won the national competition for the Top 5 writers and will be featured in their print book. The national contest challenged students across the US to write a mini-saga in just 100 words. The story was inspired by woodland. Jaynaly's work was selected to be featured for publication alongside select 4th and 5th graders across the nation

Jaynaly received a lovely certificate along with a bookmark. In September of 2021, Jaynaly was announced one of the Top 5 winners of all essays which were reviewed by judges' on a panel. These winners will each win a creative writing goody bag!

We are so proud of Jaynaly as she never fails to amaze us with her consistent improvement and drive to succeed.
