In September, Genie Academy locations reopened for in-person instruction. We have been adhering to the CDC guidelines for reopening public facilities. We have made your child's safety the top priority in developing our safety procedures.
Online classes have continued. If you wish to continue online classes or want to choose a hybrid option, you will be able to do that. Our team is working very hard so please be patient with any requests.
Our safety procedures include the following:

Mandatory temperature checks on all staff members and students prior to entering the building. Students will be sent home if their temperature is higher than 99.5 degrees F.
- Students must use hand sanitizer upon entering center.

Proper fitting masks required by all staff members and students at all times.

Maximum of 5 students per class to limit the number of people in the building.

Plexiglass barriers on each table to separate students and teachers.

Hand Sanitizers in each classroom for use before and after classes by both students and staff.

Restricting parents from entering the building. Parents will wait outside for class to be dismissed. Teachers will supervise students as they exit the building and get picked up by their parents. Teacher feedback will be emailed to you.

Disinfecting all surface areas and high contact areas after each session.
- UV-based air cleaner in our HVAC system installed to disinfect air.
- Additional plug-in air purifiers in each classroom that further assist in purifying the rooms.
