Older students are able to handle the more accelerated pace that Math Genie provides because they have some knowledge of mathematical concepts from their earlier years in school. Placed in a two hour class, this allows time for Common Core Math practice, which is essential for providing a strong foundation for 7th , 8th, and eventually high school math.
Here are some examples of the lessons we teach in our program at Math Genie:
"I enrolled my son in this program because he was struggling in math and after a few months his grades have gone from failing to All A's. The school has even given him the confidence to do better in other classes. He is now on honor roll. The staff is great and helpful and after every class they tell you what your child has learned and what they need to practice. I would recommend this program to anyone because it has really prepared my son for high school." - Leon Daley
Vivaan was unable to do mental math, constantly made careless mistakes in school, and was considered an average student. Within 5 months at Math Genie, he began getting straight A's in school and he excelled in several of his classes including math and science.
